"Fasting Prayer Order," this book contains teachings shared by God's servant, Father. Mungamuri. Devadasu Ayyagaru.
The word fasting means "to set oneself apart." In other words, it refers to creating a dedicated space to spend time in solitude with God. The Fasting Prayer Order is a structured pattern of prayer designed for such intimate fellowship with the Lord. Anyone who follows this pattern can refine their spiritual life and prepare themselves to stand among the most devoted saints. God's servants and believers who desire to be fervent and effective in their ministry are strongly encouraged to follow this order and experience the spiritual depth it offers.
Regardless of one's religious background, anyone who practices the methods outlined in this book can be prepared for a glorious spiritual state. These teachings, intended for the edification of the Bride—the Church being prepared within the universal Christian body—were shared by God's people during prayer gatherings in the years 1935 and 1936, along with testimonies from those who journeyed with them.
These teachings are intended for the perfection of one's inner spiritual life. Moreover, as they lead the believer toward a higher state of devotion, every reader is encouraged to approach the contents of this book with faith and strive to make them a part of their personal spiritual experience.
We earnestly request that prayers be offered so that the deeper teachings, disciplines, and spiritual experiences of God's servant—still hidden from many—may also be revealed in this manner.
In this hope, and in the soon-coming Bridegroom,
In His Service,
Servant of Gracious God,
Pastor. Vinny
Bible Mission
The fasting prayer shall begin at 6:00 AM and conclude at 6:00 PM. Let every believer rise by 5:00 AM, cleanse themselves, and prepare their heart in prayer before entering into the presence of God. According to Matthew 6:16–18, each element should be prayed over and praised, followed by singing the hymn.
Forget all the faults and failures within yourself.
None of these should be allowed to enter your thoughts. By forgetting everything, you must empty your heart for prayer. Make a conscious effort so that none of these come back to your memory.
Reminder: Just as you look directly into the lens when taking a photograph, look to the Lord alone, with stillness and focus.
Bow before the Lord in a spirit of reverence and surrender.
Examples:
"I am the Lord your God. You shall have no other gods before Me."
"You shall not misuse the name of the Lord your God."
"Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy."
What to do: As taught in Isaiah 58:6–14 — keep the Sabbath with reverence. Engage in activities that honor God such as reading the Bible, praying, singing hymns, teaching and learning the Word.
What not to do: Do not reject God's Word, skip regular church attendance, or be distracted during worship. Avoid shopping, buying anything, reading newspapers, hosting indulgent feasts, or any other work on this holy day.
"Honor your father and mother, so that it may go well with you and you may live long on the earth."
Show honor and respect not only to your parents but also to siblings, relatives, in-laws, friends, pastors, missionaries, teachers, evangelists, rulers, authorities, elders, and even respectful individuals younger than you. Do not look down on anyone.
"You shall not murder."
What not to do:
What to do:
"You shall not commit adultery."
What not to do:
"You shall not steal."
What not to do:
What to do:
"You shall not bear false witness against your neighbor."
What not to do:
What to do:
"You shall not covet your neighbor's house. You shall not covet your neighbor's wife, or his servant, or his ox, or his donkey, or anything that belongs to your neighbor."
What not to do:
What to do:
Sing the hymn, "Seek a Quiet Place." Give thanks that your sins are forgiven, and spend a moment in silent reflection.
Though this may seem small, it carries great weight—I now resolve before You, O Lord, to avoid every sin or mistake that I know, whether great or small.
Lord Jesus,
We should sing the hymns "My Trust Is in You Alone" and "Take My Body, It's Yours," and meditate on Psalms 25 and 31.
This is my vow, this is my faith, this is my well-being. Even when troubles and doubts arise, this is what I must meditate upon. This vow is my true nature. This is my faith.
Lord Jesus! No matter how many hardships come my way, I will never leave You; I will never forget You.
Lord Jesus! No matter how much comfort I experience, in all times, at all hours, in every place, in every task, in every situation—whatever I do, wherever I am—I will not leave You, I will not forget You. I will always remember You.
Forgetting You is impossible for me. As soon as I wake from sleep, I will think of You. Whether my prayer is answered or not, I will still think of You. I will pray to You, I will praise You, I will serve You, I will proclaim You.
No demon, no evil being, no creature, no sorrow, no comfort—nothing within me—can ever take away this vow from me.
Previously, I already had prayer, praise, Bible reading, faith, giving, holiness, and wisdom. But now, what I seek is:
"Lord, increase me."
I shall sing the hymn "Looking unto Jesus", read Psalm 119, and then take a time of rest and quiet reflection.
As I think of the entire globe, I will remember the nations, cities, and all the people living in them, and I will pray for them.
I will pray for all religions, all missions, and for those who do not yet follow the commandments.
I must not forget even a single soul.
I will pray for the righteous, for the devout, and for the Bride of Christ.
After reading John Chapter 17, I will sing the hymn "How Beautiful Are These Things", and then enter into a time of stillness and rest.

If there is any specific matter, it should be prayed over now. Pray for issues such as illness, troubles, shame, hardships, and modern-day dangers.
We offer praise to the Lord by remembering His protection from all kinds of harm and danger. For every sickness He healed, every trouble He removed, every loss He restored—we thank Him. We say, “O Lord, I praise You for delivering me from illness. I praise You for rescuing me from difficulty.” Each trial, each pain, each hardship—when recalled—becomes a reason for heartfelt praise.
Moreover, we glorify Him not only for what He saved us from, but also for the many blessings He has graciously given. From physical provisions like health, food, and clothing to greater spiritual gifts—His Son Jesus Christ, the Holy Scriptures, and the fellowship of believers—we remember them all and give thanks. In both deliverance and provision, the Lord has been good, and He is worthy of continual, sincere praise.
Heavenly Father, You are love. We praise You for being the embodiment of love.
Thank You for allowing us, as human beings, to experience and share in Your divine nature. Even before we were born, even before we ever loved You, You loved us—thank You, Lord. You knew that we would be sinners, that we would be disobedient, and yet You chose to love us still—how amazing is Your grace!
To reveal Your love, You appointed angels to minister to us and prepared the earth as a dwelling place for us—thank You, Lord. You provided everything we need, even before we asked—thank You. When we were lost, You sent Your beloved Son to save us—thank You. In giving Your Son, You gave us everything—how can we ever repay You?
What could we possibly give in return for such love? Only our love. May we love You with all our hearts, as a humble offering of gratitude.
O loving Father, O gracious Father, we praise You for the nature of Your love, the works of Your love, the call of Your love, the fellowship of Your love, and the words of love You inspired in the Scriptures.
In times of trouble, hardship, and testing, when help seems delayed, we often falter and wrongly assume You have forgotten us. Forgive us, Lord. It is our weakness that we fail to understand the depth of Your love. We cannot grasp how high and wide and deep it truly is. Yet, Father, You surround us with such great and unfailing love—how can we not praise You? We offer these words of thanksgiving in the name of Your beloved Son, our Lord Jesus Christ. Amen.
Almighty God, there is nothing You cannot do. For this, we praise You.
You are the One who has the power to fulfill everything You have purposed for us, even to the very end—thank You, Lord.
We thank You, Father, because You are able to answer every prayer we offer. You bless us with help far beyond what we can ask or imagine—thank You!
You cannot do anything related to sin, and that is precisely why You are truly all-powerful—glory to Your name!
You are the Father who helps me not to fall into sin—thank You, Lord.
Grant me the grace to believe that when You work in my life, You are using Your almighty power.
Give me the grace not to focus on my own weakness, but instead to look to Your strength within me.
I believe and praise You, for Your power removes my weakness. Your power goes forth, and in the end, it is by Your power alone that we are saved. We worship You, Almighty God.
Righteous God, We praise You for the justice You carry out by helping those who live in You. You reveal Yourself to those who pray to You, who live according to Your Word, and who walk in obedience to You—thank You, Lord.
O Judge of all the earth, we praise You for the justice You perform through Your righteous nature. We remember Your precious promise: “Whoever comes to Me, I will never cast them away,” and we give You thanks.
Father, what a comfort to know that the righteous Judge is also my Father. Grant us a steadfast faith that trusts You will surely give us everything we truly need.
O gracious Father, You are holy and just. Even though we, Your children, sometimes disobey Your commandments, You allow us to face the consequences—not out of anger, but as a fulfillment of divine justice. For this, too, we give You praise.
Compassionate Father, You do not withhold trials from us. Instead, through those very trials, You teach us Your commandments, guide us in Your ways, and then, in Your mercy, reward us for walking in them. You are a just and loving Father, and we worship You.
Sovereign Lord, We praise You, for You have complete authority over all that You have created. Everything in existence is under Your perfect rule—glory to Your name!
I rejoice in and submit to Your authority, Lord. Because I am under Your covering, I thank You that neither the devil, nor his agents, nor anything related to him has any power over me—thank You, Lord.
O Sovereign God, Since all authority belongs to You, I rejoice in the blessing of walking not according to my own will, but according to Yours. Had Your authority not governed my life, my own self-will would have led me into many troubles. Let that never be, Lord!
Therefore, I joyfully bow before Your supreme authority and say from my heart, "Let Your will be done, O Lord!"
O God, We praise You simply because You are God. Since You are God, You are greater than all the worlds, greater than everyone and everything—worthy are You to be praised!
Heavenly Father, Whatever seems great in our eyes is not truly great—only You are truly great. We praise You for revealing Yourself in this way.
O God above all so-called gods, You are far greater than the gods people imagine or create—praise be to You!
Whatever we see, whatever we desire, whatever we understand, whatever we possess—even all that humanity discovers or invents—none of it compares to You. You are the greatest of all—thank You, Lord!
Even if we had nothing else, if we had only You, we would still have everything. When we look at all the things You have given us, we are reminded of You—because You, the Giver, are greater than every gift. We praise You!
O God, You are our Lord, the Lord of all. The rule and authority belong to You. You are the Lord over our lives, so we trust that You will guide us in Your ways—ways of righteousness and truth. For this, we give You thanks and bow in reverence.
Lord, since You are our Lord, we are Your people. Under Your reign, we find safety, peace, and joy. Just as it was said of the people who lived in Solomon's kingdom: "Every man lived in safety under his own vine and fig tree" (1 Kings 5:26–27), how much more true this is of You, O Lord—the Lord with divine attributes, the Great King above all kings. We worship You, our sovereign and glorious God!
O Heavenly Father, You are holy—so holy that no one can truly comprehend the extent of Your purity. Your holiness is beyond our understanding.
Even the angels, who are themselves pure and have never known sin, cannot stand unveiled in Your presence. Your Word tells us that they cover their faces with two of their wings before Your glory, unable to gaze upon the radiance of Your holiness—this shows us how great and awe-inspiring it truly is.
O Most Holy God, how can we even begin to praise You adequately? However pure our worship may seem, there is always some flaw in it; however sincere our hearts, some impurity lingers. Before Your infinite holiness, what can be called holy?
Your Word declares that even the light of the sun and moon is not pure in comparison with Your brightness—then what are we? How can we stand before such a holy God?
Yet we praise You because there is no fault in You. You are perfect, and the love You have shown toward us is perfectly pure. We cannot fully describe it, only bow in reverence and gratitude.
Because You are holy, You have created everything in holiness and with purpose. Because You are holy, we are called not to perform deeds out of ritual, but to join with the holy ones in worshiping You in truth and spirit.
What else can we do? Nothing, except to humbly ask that You accept whatever small praises we are able to offer.
We thank You, Holy Father, for Your unmatched holiness, Your faultless love, and for calling us into Your holy presence.
O Most Holy God! Even though You are supremely holy, we praise You because You chose to enter this sinful world by taking human form. Yet, in doing so, Your holiness was never diminished.
Just as sunlight falls even on unclean places without losing its radiance, so too does Your purity remain unstained even when You draw near to impurity.
O God, even when You sat and ate with sinners and tax collectors, You remained holy. When the unclean woman came and touched You, and You allowed her to do so, still You were and are the Holy One.
O Most Holy God! Not only when You reigned from heaven as God, but even when You took on our human flesh, You remained holy.
Who can convict You of sin? Every deed You did was holy. The acts of creation were holy, and the works You performed on earth for our salvation were holy.
Not only Your actions, but even Your teachings were holy. The sufferings You endured—every pain, every wound—You bore them in a holy manner. All of this reveals and declares that You are truly the Holy One.
We praise You, Lord Jesus Christ, O Holy One, because among all who are called saviors by men, You alone are the true Savior, the Holy One.
Because You are without sin and holy, You alone are able to save all. You alone are worthy to be our Redeemer. We thank You, our Holy Savior!
And when You return again in glory, how joyful and amazed we will be to see Your shining face. We give You all praise, Most Holy One!
O Most Holy One, Holy Spirit of God, Life-giving Spirit, Dove of Salvation—O Holy God, we praise You solely because You are holy.
We know only as much of Your holiness as You have graciously revealed to us; beyond that, we know little. Yet even that limited revelation is so supremely sacred that we stand in awe and offer heartfelt praise.
O God who appeared as tongues of fire—if even those tongues are holy, how radiant and glorious must You be!
O Eternal Light-giving Spirit, You do not hesitate to enter our hearts. Though we are sinners, You do not disdain to dwell within us.
O God! You are omnipresent. Therefore, we offer praises to You. You are the One who has created everything and continues to create, and so You are present wherever anything exists. We know that there is nothing You have created that is separate from You or far from You. You are present in heaven, on earth, and in all places—for that, we praise You.
Wherever I am, You can be there. You can be with me. You can be present and help me. You can take away the worry that I am alone. Therefore, we give thanks to You. We give thanks to You in all places. There is no place without You. Nothing exists without You—for that, we praise You.
In the blink of an eye, You can go anywhere, at any time. God is omnipresent—we once thought this great position was not given to us. We did not realize it while we were on this earth made of clay. But now, we have come to know it. We give thanks for having been granted such a great status.
O God, the source of all life! When the life within me begins to wither and I fall into a state of weakness and lifelessness, You revive me with new life. You restore strength to my soul, and for that, I offer You unending praise—the praise of eternal life.
O God of infinite wisdom! You know my struggles and desires even before I speak them. Because You are all-knowing, You are able to fulfill my deepest longings. Though many obstacles stand in the way, You possess the wisdom to untangle every difficulty and bring my desires to fulfillment. So, I praise You with all the understanding I have. I offer You all the honor that my knowledge allows.
O God, who is beyond all form! Though my weakness prevents me from seeing You, I know that You are always watching over me. You are formless, yet in Your compassion, You have given me a body to serve Your purpose. And to my soul, You have graciously imparted a glimpse of Your formless nature. With both body and spirit, I offer You my praise. You are unseen, yet ever near. You are without form, yet ever present in all.
O Sovereign Father, the God of true freedom! You are self-sufficient, able to do all things by Your own will—and for this, I praise You.
Yet in Your love, You have also given me the freedom to act, to choose, and to live with purpose. You have blessed me with the strength to act freely, while still depending entirely on You.
And so, I worship You not out of obligation, but from a heart that freely chooses to love and honor You. You have not only shared Your nature with me, but also Your desires.
Even if You had given me everything else but withheld the gift of free will, it would have meant nothing. But because You have given me this precious gift—the ability to choose You—I thank You with all my being. For the gift of freedom, I offer You my deepest praise.
O Father—the One true God revealed as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit! I offer You countless praises for the wonder of Your revelation.
You are not a hidden God, but One who chooses to reveal Yourself. Through Your nature, Your works, and Your greatness, You have made Yourself known—and for that, I glorify You.
You are One, and yet You are revealed as Three. Though I cannot comprehend the mystery of Your being, I believe. And I trust that when I reach Your presence in heaven, I will come to know more fully what now I know in part.
How can my limited understanding grasp Your infinite wisdom? Through all eternity, I will continue to discover more of who You are, for there is no end to Your greatness. Your revelation is endless, and my knowing of You will forever grow. Therefore, I offer You endless praise.
O Radiant One, full of glory and joy! I believe that You will grant me the eternal joy of dwelling in Your presence—of beholding Your face, experiencing Your nearness, and abiding in unbroken fellowship with You. In this hope, I rejoice and offer You abundant praise.
During the second watch of the day, devote yourself entirely to gazing upon the Lord. Refrain from other activities, even prayer. Fix your eyes upon the holy countenance of Christ the Lord—only then shall His divine light permeate your being. Should no vision manifest, fret not, for your heart shall still overflow with joy. That itself is the answer.
Note: On days when the entire congregation observes fasting, the leaders may organize and conduct this practice accordingly. The session may conclude at 6 o'clock, followed by the hymn What Greater Joy than Rejoicing in the Soul?, after which all may depart.
At times, if our planned program does not unfold as intended, the Spirit may instead impart a new directive from the Father—in such cases, follow that guidance. Nevertheless, this prescribed practice remains unchanging.
Even in a fasting gathering, the enemy may attempt to be present. Through some unnoticed weakness within us, a demonic spirit may enter and try to disrupt the fellowship—therefore, be watchful and spiritually alert.
When this practice is followed with sincerity, the Lord will send His chosen servants from heaven to speak, and they will come and minister. During the time of beholding, you may hear His voice or even receive a vision.
And even if no vision is granted, remain still and joyful, just as previously instructed. In this sacred space, you may freely ask the Lord questions that arise in your heart—and He will answer you.
Once, a devout woman prayed earnestly and said, "The Lord did not appear to me, even in a vision." The Lord gently replied, "It is all yours."
Hearing this, she wept deeply. Indeed, He is able to do wonders—great wonders, mighty and unimaginable wonders. His presence abides here. He can move across the entire world. Doubt is a demon, worry is a demon, fear is a demon—do not allow them to enter. You already know what you must let go of and what you must do, so fulfill it. Approach every aspect of this time with deep humility, and at the end of each part, let there be great joy in your heart. May this entire teaching become a blessing and benefit to all of us. Amen.
O Triune God, our Heavenly Father! We have read that the heavens were opened, and the Holy Spirit descended like a dove—and You beheld it. The phrase "the heavens were opened" carries a profound meaning. Though the heavens are always open, this expression reveals something deeper.
Just as in the rainy season when dark clouds cover the sky and make it seem closed, the wind then parts the clouds and reveals the clear blue—so also, there is a spiritual unveiling that occurs. We know what it is to see the natural sky open, but when Your Word says "the heavens were opened," it speaks of divine revelation. This word opens our understanding; it leads us from one truth to another.
As we now prepare to receive Your Word, we ask that You open the heavens over our hearts and minds, that we may behold the light of Your truth with clarity and joy.
Yes, Lord, we are able to open Your written book with our own hands. You need not physically come down to turn its pages for us—we can turn sheet after sheet, page after page, and even read the historical accounts it contains.
But, O Lord, we cannot open the true meaning of Your Word. Based on our limited knowledge, we may understand a little, but we cannot grasp the deeper purpose and divine intent that You have placed within it. Only You can reveal that to us.
O Father, we ask that by the help of Your Spirit, throughout our lifetime, You would continually open the Scriptures to us, moment by moment. Then we will truly understand what it means for the heavens to be opened. Not merely the sky of clouds, but the heavenly realms themselves will be unveiled to us.
When the meaning of the Bible is opened to us, the heavens are opened—and from this earth, we will be able to experience the joy of heaven. We humbly ask You to grant us such grace.
Lord, in this gathering, we pray that You Yourself would open the Scriptures to each and every one of us—and in doing so, open the heavens over us. Keep none of us from Your grace; let not even one be lost.
At this moment, we also lift up a prayer for all people across the world. Teach us to pray with deeper burden and love. Heavenly Father, hear this opening prayer through our soon-coming Lord Jesus Christ.
Father, You are the One who opens the physical eyes of the blind so that they may see clearly—and for this, we give You thanks. You have given us this great book, the Bible, made up of sixty-six books, and granted us the privilege to read it.
Open our physical eyes, Lord, that we may read and behold it rightly. But more than that, open our natural understanding that we might grasp the historical events written in it.
And Father, one more request: open the eyes of our inner being so that we may see the deeper meaning hidden within the story of Your Word. Then, and only then, will we be able to rejoice in You and in Your Word with fullness of joy.
Heavenly Father, just as You are graciously opening the Bible before us, we ask that You also open it before the world—not merely in sight, but in understanding. Though the world may look upon the Bible with its natural eyes, it is unable to perceive the deeper meaning hidden within.
We therefore lift up a prayer for the world today. But not only for the world—we also pray for those within the Christian community, whose spiritual eyes have not yet been opened.
Though they see the Scriptures, the inner beauty—the blossom, the fragrance, the honey—remains hidden from them. So, Lord, we intercede on their behalf as well. You have placed this burden of prayer upon our hearts for a reason, and we ask that You fulfill that divine purpose through our soon-coming Lord Jesus Christ. Amen.
Father, while the outer form of the Bible may be known to many, the inner blossom, the nectar, the honeycomb—the true and nourishing essence—is not known to all. But that is what we all truly need.
O God, reveal to us what lies deep within Your heart. Let us partake not only of the surface, but of the fullness hidden within Your Word.
When the heavenly skies open, the salvation we hope for will be revealed right here on earth. Unlike the cloudy sky that clears only in certain seasons, the heavens above are always ready to be opened.
Just as the wind clears the clouds in the rainy season, the divine wind of the Spirit will soon clear the heavens. This unveiling, however, is granted only to the spiritually discerning, not to the worldly-minded.
In this sacred moment, let us sing the hymn "Yesu nee thalape naaku" (Jesus, Your thoughts are mine).
These clouds can overshadow us during times of trouble, but when the Lord lifts them, we begin to see His love once more.
A preacher once told a suffering woman, "Mother, you are cursing God in your hardship. Instead of cursing, bless Him. This hardship has come to bring you heavenly reward."
She said nothing, but smiled gently and resolved to stop complaining. At that moment, the cloud of suffering lifted.
All three clouds—ignorance, sorrow, and hardship—must be removed by the Lord Himself. That is why we must pray earnestly. We must kneel before Him in humble surrender.
Whether kneeling, sitting reverently, or falling prostrate, let us fall at the feet of the Lord of Grace. One prophet even bowed his head between his knees in fervent prayer. Let us do the same, that the heavens may be opened above us.
Gracious Father! You are rejoicing to hear today's prayer—thank You, Lord! It is written, "God so loved the world," and therefore, when we pray for the world, we know it brings You joy.
Father, many religions have arisen in the world, yet one religion teaches contrary to another. In such a situation, how can we truly know what is right?
If we ask a teacher from one religion, he gives one explanation. If we ask a teacher from another religion about the same matter, he gives a different explanation. If we ask our own knowledge or our conscience, we receive yet another perspective.
Caught in between all these, we are confused and unsure of what is the truth. That is why we are asking You to come and show us what is true and settle these matters.
This is why we have created two prayers: "O God! Reveal Yourself to us, and speak to us." That is still the prayer we are offering even now.
Wherever we go, Christian teachers proclaim that Christ is the Savior, that Christianity is the one true religion established by God, and that the Bible is the divinely given Book.
Then, Father! People of other religions do not believe these things. They say, "We have our own religion, we have our own scriptures, we have our own saviors." Not only do they say this, but their faith is firmly rooted in these beliefs.
Therefore, speak to every religion what needs to be spoken. Christians have declared what they must proclaim. People of other faiths have also expressed their opinions. The end of the church age has come.
Lord Jesus! This is the time when You must come to draw the community of believers into the cloud of glory and carry them with their souls into the realm of salvation.
This is our time, Lord, for You to come. If You do not come now to settle these matters, then when will You come? Thank You, Lord. Amen.
These prayers should begin at 6:00 AM and continue without food or drink until 10:00 PM. It is a long and intense prayer.
"O Lord! As one believer once said, 'When Your church is on its knees, Satan trembles.' We thank You for giving us the grace to kneel before You now. Prayer is our greatest weapon to overcome all evil. Therefore, keep Your church always on its knees."
If those in authority know God, they can lead with true wisdom—so we must pray for such blessedness. If they do not know God, but possess natural goodness, they may still govern justly—so we must pray that such goodness is used wisely.
Even if they lack both the knowledge of God and natural goodness, we must pray that through their position, and by following laws, principles, and wise counsel from elders, they would rule in a way that brings benefit to the people. Let us pray that such a state may be established and sustained.
O Lord, bless all people in every profession—only then will work be accomplished and service fulfilled. From medical professionals to cobblers, weavers, and all others—let every trade be touched by Your blessing. When people hear our teaching, may peace dwell among them.
The Holy Spirit inspired prayer through deep groaning, and the servant of God witnessed it, prayed, and immediately the work was done. When life itself groans in prayer, even a moving train was brought to a halt.
In the same way, if we pray with true burden and groaning, bombs in America and Russia will be stopped. But groaning prayer cannot be faked or escaped—it must come from the heart.
O Lord, forgive those who are trying to drive out the Christian faith. Just as You said, "Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they are doing," we ask the same. Let no harm result from these attempts—protect us, and destroy all wicked plans made by the enemy.
Lord Jesus, You heard the groaning prayer of life and stopped a speeding train at an unscheduled station. In the same way, we plead with You to stop bombs that are ready to explode.
Let our prayers, full of groaning and pain, become stronger than those bombs—turn them into spiritual bombs of grace and salvation.
The Lord went a stone's throw away and prayed in anguish; even Elijah prayed earnestly. If you do not experience groaning prayer, you will not be taken up in the Second Coming.
Let us therefore seek the Lord with true burden, for only then will we be prepared.
Triune God—our Father, Almighty Father—we praise You! No matter how many crores of people or requests there may be, You are able to fulfill them with ease. We thank You because this gathering doesn't have crores of people or countless petitions—just a few people and a few prayers. Can't You fulfill these? Yes, You can, if we believe that You will.
Some hearts here are still burdened with sins they have not let go of, yet they are praying. Today, You can set them free—we thank You for that.
While some are spiritually afflicted, others suffer from persistent physical sickness. But You, Lord, are able to deliver them—we thank You.
Some are struggling with lack in certain areas of life, and those needs continue to trouble them. But You can release them from these troubles—we praise You.
Some here are distressed because they are childless, and that sorrow hasn't left them. But You can deliver them—we thank You, Lord.
Others are being tormented by evil spirits in various aspects of their lives. You are mighty to deliver—we thank You.
Still others are entangled in complex problems that refuse to let go. But You are the God who can set them free—and for that, we offer our heartfelt thanks.
Lord, some among us are burdened with prayers for the deliverance of their loved ones. Many of these prayers still remain unanswered, and that delay continues to weigh heavily on their hearts. But You, O Lord, are the One who sets people free—we thank You.
There are others who wrestle with occasional doubts—about their salvation, the preparation of the Bride (the Church), and the Second Coming. These doubts hold them back, even as they try to press forward. They are unable to break free from this struggle. But You can break those chains, Lord—we praise You.
Apart from these, there are others facing inner turmoil: those who lack peace, feel restless, are unsure of what to do, feel unsatisfied no matter what is said to them, and struggle to accept counsel. We lift them up to You. You alone can release them from these burdens and fill them with lasting peace—we give You thanks.
We believe that those who need to return to their homes will be safely led by the help of Your angels—thank You, Lord. We also pray that everything learned here today would not stop with us, but be shared with others, bringing joy and hope to many. We ask all these things through our soon-coming Lord Jesus Christ. Amen.
O Father who hears prayer! Just as You said, "I saw you under the fig tree," You know us too, even before our prayers are spoken. And so, we offer You thanks in advance, even before our prayers are answered. Grant us this great faith, this precious fellowship with You. To have You is the only true blessing. To abide in You is the only true state of being.
We ask that before we reach Heaven, we may experience that blessed state right here on earth. You declared in Your Word, "The Lord is my portion; I lack nothing in this world." What a wonder that is! We too desire to say the same—that if we have You, Lord, then nothing in this world is truly lacking. It is not merely a truth to be written in the Bible—it must become our personal testimony, just as Paul said, "I have no need of anything."
What extraordinary faith! What depth of mystery! What awe-inspiring truth! Who in this world can say, "I need nothing from the world," while still living in it? People will ask, "If you say you need nothing—what will you eat? What will you wear? What will you buy?" But to be able to say, "I need nothing"—what an astonishing experience!
Paul, having seen all the riches of the world, called it all "dung"—a pile of waste. Who else can speak like that? Paul did. And if only we too could have such an experience—what joy that would be!
If someone asks, "Who is in your room?" we would say, "The Lord Jesus and I." And if they ask, "Did you hear what they said?" we would reply, "No, I didn't." Even if ten people were in that room, it would feel as though no one else was there. Such is the depth of intimacy and communion we long to have with You, Lord.
Lord, grant us such great faith! Just as You said to Moses, "I have seen the suffering of My people in Egypt,"—what a deeply moving word! Imagine the joy they must have felt when they heard that! Lord, when we cry out, "Heal my sickness," and You respond, "I know,"—how comforting that is. And You did not just say it to Moses—you say it to us in this very room, to us who are restless and easily discouraged. So, we ask: fulfill it, Lord.
Teach us to say, "I lack nothing," even when the world seems to say otherwise. According to Your Word: "Whom have I in heaven but You? And earth has nothing I desire besides You." There are countless believers around the world—but how many truly know this verse? If every saint on earth read this verse, could they say, "By God's power, this is my experience"? But we want to say it, Lord. Let it become our truth.
Why do people cry out, "God didn't hear my prayer," or say, "This is missing, that is lacking," and speak against You? The world is full of shallow blessings—a glitter that doesn't satisfy. But You said, "My peace I give you, not as the world gives." Oh Father, what a powerful Word! "Dung," "no need," "peace"—these three words humble us.
Your Word says, "When I remember the works of Your mercy toward me, my face is covered in shame." How could such great grace be given to such a great sinner? Like Paul, we are humbled. We are not worthy. Yet such blessing, such favor!
O Lord, we cannot fully comprehend Your love. "Why such love for such a sinner?" we ask. Father, grant the desires of those who have come from distant places. Reveal Your love and holiness in them. Let Your believers across all districts and regions be united. How joyful it would be if we could all gather and speak only of the glorious things of God!
Right now, we are unable to bring everyone together. But give us time—abundant time, and space—to share all these things. Make that moment come, Lord, when we can gather and speak of nothing but Your goodness. Let Your divine timing become our time. We ask all this in the name of our Lord. Amen.
O Lord! When even animals die if they approach Mount Sinai, how much more will humans perish? Whether righteous or not, those who come near will die. Therefore, You commanded the people, "Do not come near." For You descended upon the mountain, and Your holy presence dwelled there.
Father, Son, and Holy Spirit—Triune God—You were there. The burning radiance of Your presence, like a scorching wind, extended from the mountaintop downward. Whoever approached would be consumed.
Just as ants cannot survive if they venture into scorching sand without shade, so too would humans perish in Your holy presence. Yet, because You desired Your people to live, You set a boundary, saying, "Do not come near." This is Your love—Your deep care for Your people. Therefore, we offer You our praises.
You said, "They must not come," but to Moses, You said, "Come." He sat in Your presence, beheld Your face, and listened to Your words. There was no hunger, no thirst, no death.
But for the Israelites, approaching meant death. Yet Moses sat at Your feet—what a wonder! This reveals Your surpassing love and mercy! Would You let Your devoted ones, Your chosen ones, perish? That would be contrary to Your nature.
This passage contains two remarkable truths: for some, death; for others, deathless life. Because we, like the Israelites, must live, grant us the grace to seek Your presence at the appointed time, to gaze upon Your face, and to listen to Your voice.
Bless us this entire day with the joy of Your presence—that You may be with us, and we with You. Amen.
"Endurance" means bearing hardships with joy. This includes enduring insults, trials, unanswered prayers, scorching heat, rain, failure, famine, sickness, evil spirits, wicked arts, and more.
When these occur in our lives, we must not dwell on them—"Do not mind temporary troubles."
In this experience, we must feel that wherever we are, we are in God's presence.
Whether in the mud, the quicksand, Nebuchadnezzar's furnace, the stormy Sea of Galilee, among murderers, or like Sadhu Sundar Singh in a dry well—we must consider ourselves in the embrace of God.
This is a great and profound experience. Even among wild beasts, in desolate places, in the air, or while asleep, we must remember:
"I am with my Father."
When alone, I am not truly alone. I must remember:
"I and my Father are one."
Whatever work I do, I should not think I do it alone—the Father and I do it together.
Even in suffering, I do not endure it alone—the Father, the Son, and I bear it together.
In every duty, every trial, every blessing, and every victory, I must remember that God is with me always. My life is not separate from Him, for He abides with me continually.
May this experience of oneness become a living reality in my daily walk, so that in every thought, every word, and every action, I may remain united with my Heavenly Father through our Lord Jesus Christ. Amen.
