Seasonal Prayers

1. The Persistence in Prayer

"And shall not God avenge His own elect, which cry day and night unto Him, though He bear long with them?" — Luke 18:7

Dear readers! Can any task be accomplished without persistence? In the same way, when you bring your desires before God in prayer, you must be earnest and persistent in both praying and believing that what you prayed for will be fulfilled. Then your requests will be granted.

When a lion has to become an ant, how difficult and impossible it seems! Yet, if such a thing were to happen, it would be a miracle indeed. Likewise, for God to become man was a great and impossible work—but He did it. He became man so that He could dwell with us, work on our behalf, be seen by us, and speak with us. He chose to be called by a name familiar to all—“Jesus”—so that everyone could call upon Him. For our sake, He taught, suffered, sacrificed His life, conquered evil, triumphed over death, and ascended into heaven. If such a great God-Man has done all this, will He not do any work for us? Will He not hear our cry? Will He not fulfill our desires?

Keep this one truth in your heart—the history of God becoming man for humanity—and joyfully make known your requests. Because He is our Man, He delights to hear our petitions. Because He is our God, He is able to fulfill them. If He had the desire but not the power, our requests would remain unmet. But since the Lord Jesus Christ possesses both the will and the power, He will fulfill all our desires. Therefore, dear readers—whatever your religion, however great your sins, diseases, poverty, ignorance, or troubles—cling to Christ the Lord. Worship Him daily, and pour out your supplications before Him. Even if you lack faith, pray and see! If, after turning to Christ, you again turn to other deities, your desires will not be fulfilled. What should your requests be? — Forgiveness of sins, healing from sickness, deliverance from troubles and difficulties; also faith, joy, courage, peace, sound mind, truthful living, repentance, divine service (that is, serving God by teaching others about Him), salvation, and a peaceful death. Besides these, whatever you need each day—ask and you shall receive. He listens to all prayers from everyone. Understand that this is His joy—to hear prayer.

If He delays in fulfilling your requests, do not grow anxious or lose heart. Fear, worry, doubt, weariness, hopelessness, and thoughts like “Maybe He doesn’t want to answer my prayer”—these are all like demons. Do not allow such demons into your heart! Would you let scorpions or snakes enter your home? Certainly not. Likewise, drive away these thoughts whenever they come. As you resist them, you will grow stronger in your grip of rejection—that is, the ability to cast out what is not of God.

There are two kinds of persistence you must have:

1. Persistence in prayer — the steadfast hold that receives good things.
2. Persistence in rejection — the firm grip that casts away unnecessary things.

You must have both.

If you pray once and do not receive, there is still a way: spend one whole day in fasting prayer at a quiet place. Then your spiritual grip will strengthen. Some say, “We have no time or place to pray.” Yet, you find time to drink water, eat food, sit at leisure, and sleep. Then what excuse remains for not praying? Such excuses are obstacles to your spiritual life—remove them, and your inner burden will vanish. Your joy must be in believing that He hears your prayer. Then your prayers will be answered. Listen to the parable our Lord Jesus told: There was a widow who frequently went to a judge, pleading, “Avenge me of my adversary.” Though he refused for a long time, she did not lose heart. She persisted and pleaded again and again until the judge finally avenged her cause.

Dear readers, do you see her persistence? If you have such persistence, the Lord Christ will certainly deliver you from your troubles. Since it is He Himself who said, “Pray,” will He not hear you when you do? Even if anyone—or your own conscience—tells you that He will not hear, do not believe it. Believe only what He said. Then you will be blessed. He told this parable to teach us to pray persistently and not lose heart. May God be with you and bless you continually! Amen.

2. Prayer for Strength and Steadfastness of Mind

Triune God! You have commanded us to pray — therefore, grant us the grace to pray. You have called us to praise — grant us the grace to lift our hearts in true worship. You have instructed us to read Your Word — bless us with the grace to read and meditate upon it faithfully, understanding every truth. You have instructed us to confess and forsake sin — grant us the grace to carry out this work sincerely. You have said, “Have faith in Me” — therefore, Lord, grant us the grace to believe in You with unwavering trust. You have written, “Be steadfast” — therefore, O Father, not only at this moment, nor only during gatherings or meetings, but at all times, grant us the grace to remain steadfast and unwavering in spirit.

Let our devotion not be limited to Sundays, festival days, or other meetings, but be a constant, enduring, and steadfast devotion that abides forever. Grant us, O Lord, a mind and heart that are unwavering — that do not look toward sin, evil, or affliction, but remain fixed only upon You. Enable us to accomplish all that You desire through us, and grant us the grace to fulfill Your will faithfully. When we open the first page of Your Holy Word, may we behold a new revelation; on turning the second page, may we perceive another fresh insight; and as we continue through each page, may we encounter ever-deepening divine truths. Similarly, as we go through the new pages, the second pages, and the third pages of these three days of spiritual devotion, reveal to us all that You desire to teach us. Grant that we may hear, understand, and apply these truths fully and clearly.

Lord, grant us the grace to receive and retain these revelations — to remember them even in times of struggle, affliction, or distraction. Give us a mind that is disciplined and steadfast, that does not falter or grow weary, that remains focused only on You, without being shaken by difficulties, temptations, or adversities.

O Lord, may the truths You reveal through these pages guide us in thought, word, and action. May our hearts be strengthened to meditate on Your Word diligently, and may the lessons we learn bear fruit in our lives. As we grow in understanding, grant us the grace to walk faithfully in obedience, trusting in Your guidance and mercy.

May this prayer be answered according to Your will, O Lord, with Your abundant mercy and grace, so that we may be steadfast in mind, unwavering in faith, and rooted deeply in Your truth at all times. Amen.

3. Prayer for Endurance

Prayer: Lord Jesus! Just as You triumphed through endurance, grant us also the strength to overcome through patient endurance. Before we achieve victory after victory, let us first learn to endure and thus receive true triumph. As we have described in our hymn, You displayed endurance in eight ways and in eight circumstances. Likewise, Lord, grant us the courage and steadfastness to exhibit endurance in all matters, at all times, and in every situation. Enduring in only one area brings no benefit; therefore, bless us to endure wholly — in heart, mind, and deed.

When we strive to endure, remind us of Your own endurance. Let Your endurance become our model, and let faith in Your example strengthen us to endure. O Savior who endures! Grant us the grace to be enduring brides, patient and steadfast until Your return. Often, according to our own experiences, we notice that our endurance wavers, weakens, or falters. Strengthen our endurance, Lord, and multiply it. You have promised, “I come quickly,” yet when we perceive a delay, our natural hearts may grow restless. Preserve us, Lord, so that our endurance does not fail, and secure our place in the bridal procession awaiting You. Every act of endurance has its appointed time — every experience leads to another, every preparation opens the way for deeper readiness. Grant us courage and resolve to remain steadfast and unwavering, even amidst trials. Let us not presume that we will be spared the challenges You endured; rather, prepare us to face them with patience and faith. When we labor and struggle, grant us the gift of memory and mindfulness — that we may recall Your Word and remember Your example. Let these thoughts inspire endurance, and let our faith be strengthened by the knowledge that through patience, Your victory is ours.

Lord, we pray that our endurance be complete, our patience unwavering, and our hearts steadfast, so that no trial may move us from Your path. May Your Spirit guide us in every circumstance, and may our lives bear witness to Your strength and grace. Amen.

4. Prayer for Healing

O Lord Jesus Christ! Though You are Almighty God, You humbled Yourself to come into this world in human form, walking among us, showing Your love, compassion, and power. You accomplished every work necessary for our salvation. We bow in gratitude for Your incarnation.

1. Lord, when You walked this earth, You healed every sick person who came to You. For this, we praise You endlessly.

2. After You ascended to heaven, Your disciples, trusting in Your promises, prayed for the sick in Your name, and many were healed. We thank You for this ongoing ministry.

3. Even today, before our eyes, You continue to heal many. Father, I humbly plead: heal me, Lord!

  • Even today, You continue to heal countless ailments not mentioned in Scripture: headaches, toothaches, fevers, asthma, tuberculosis, heart pain, stomach pain, ulcers, vomiting, leg pain, swelling, fainting, barrenness, poison bites, and conditions requiring surgery. For all these miracles, we give You endless thanks.

Lord, I trust that You will heal me in Your perfect time. I await Your mercy with faith, knowing that all diseases, in all people, can be healed through You.

Strengthen me, Lord:

  • Fill my heart with faith, courage, devotion, joy, and boldness. Protect me from doubt, fear, weakness, and despair.
  • Let every prayer offered for me be answered according to Your will. Remove my sins and purify me. Grant me grace to read Your Word, pray daily, and serve others faithfully. Instill in me a spirit of gratitude and reverence for all You do.

  • Bless the work of hospitals, caregivers, and all who labor in health and restoration. Let Your power flow through every means of service.

O Lord, reflecting on Your holy life and sacrifice, I realize this truth:

  • You are my God, my Father, my Provider, my Redeemer, my Teacher, my Healer, my Deliverer, my Salvation. You are everything to me.

I place my complete trust in You, Lord. When my earthly journey ends, bring me safely into Your eternal presence. Amen.

5. Prayer for Healing

O Lord! You alone are God, the Sustainer, the Guide, and the Healer of both body and soul. We bring before You all who are sick here today — bless them, Lord, and let their ailments vanish at Your touch. You have provided the anointing oil — bless it, O Lord. Bless those who use it. The blessing and prayer we offer through this oil is the same blessing that Christ Himself bestows. When we pray and bless, it is as if You, O God, are blessing directly — for we do so only by Your command.

This is what You have spoken and written in the Holy Scriptures. Your first disciples practiced it faithfully. Though this practice has been neglected in recent times, Lord, restore it among us once again! Drive out every evil spirit from those who are afflicted. For those whom You have already healed or delivered from unclean spirits, fill their hearts with gratitude so that they may continuously give thanks to You. O Lord, let Your healing power flow freely today. Let every prayer offered and every act of faith bring restoration, wholeness, and life. Amen.

6. Prayer for Deliverance

i. Confession and Plea for Mercy

Lord Jesus, we confess that we are sinners — in our thoughts, in what we see, in what we hear, in what we speak, in our efforts, in our deeds, and in our entire way of life. Every moment of our existence has been touched by sin. Have mercy upon us, O Lord, and forgive us completely. Grant us divine strength to overcome sin, for without Your grace we cannot stand firm.

ii. Healing from the Consequences of Sin

In our bodies, we bear the fruits and scars of sin — sickness, weakness, and pain. Restore us, O Lord! The body You created in perfection is no longer as You made it. Our thoughts are corrupted, our eyes wander, our ears listen to the wrong voices, our speech is careless, our actions are flawed, and our lives are broken. Not only have we erred — our very bodies have become bound by sickness and weakness. We plead for Your healing touch. Let Your life-giving power cleanse and renew us completely.

iii. Healing of the Soul and Deliverance from Death

Our souls, too, are stained and wounded. Cleanse them, O Lord. Heal our spirits that have been bruised by sin. Our very breath can fail at any moment — therefore, deliver us from the power of destruction and the shadow of death. Preserve our souls from every evil influence.

iv. Prayer for Protection of the Mission

O Lord! When Jonah fled from Your presence, a great storm arose over the sea, and the shipmasters cried out for everyone to pray to their gods. Likewise, we call upon You, the true and living God. The enemy has risen against us — against Your Bible Mission — using people, other missions, and adversaries as instruments of attack. We look to You alone, our Redeemer and Defender. Stand for us, Lord, and silence every storm stirred by Satan.

v. Appeal for Courage and Witness

Grant us boldness, Lord, to speak Your truth before others. We must say what You have commanded us. Therefore, we cry out:

“Brothers! Sisters! Children of God! Arise and stand firm. The Arya Samaj and others seek to erase our witness, but we shall not be silent. Speak to them boldly! Tell them — What wrong have we done? Has not the Christian faith brought countless blessings to India?

Defend the truth. Hold meetings for the sake of the Gospel. Write and speak on behalf of the Lord’s mission. Let light overcome darkness.”

vi. Intercession for India

Lord, You created this land of India — our home and our mission field. Where else can we go? If we leave this land, they will still pursue us. Therefore, we do not ask to escape — we ask for Your mercy to remain. Pour out Your grace upon this nation and upon all who bear Your Name within it. Strengthen Your servants, protect Your people, and let the banner of Christ be lifted high once again. In Jesus’ mighty name we pray — Amen.

O Lord, our Redeemer and Judge, we bring before You all who rise against us. If it be Your will, humble them with sickness or weariness — not for their destruction, but that, upon their beds of affliction, they may come to realize their errors. Let their suffering become a school of divine understanding. Reveal Yourself to them, Lord! Let them hear Your voice saying, “I am the One who created the heavens, the earth, and all humanity.” Do not let death overtake them, but awaken their souls to the truth. Show them the path of salvation. Proclaim within their hearts that there is no fault in the Bible, no evil in You, and no deceit in true faith. Whether they believe or not, let Your truth be declared to them, that those who do not know may finally come to understanding.

For nearly two thousand years—since the time the Apostle Thomas first brought the gospel to India—Your message has been proclaimed through Your servants. Yet many have not received it with gratitude; instead, they plot harm against Your people. Still, You have borne with patience, O Lord. Your purposes are righteous, though we may not fully understand them.

Even as the saints of old cried out, “O God, do not remain silent, for our enemies rage against us,” we too lift our voices in such prayer—not out of hatred, but out of love for their souls.

Lord, let any trial or sickness that comes upon them serve as a means of mercy, not destruction — a tool of awakening, not of wrath. Bless them so that through these experiences they may find Your truth and receive eternal life. They are our own people, the children of our land, the ones who need our prayers and Your Word. Therefore, hear our cry, O Lord — not to destroy, but to save; not to condemn, but to enlighten. Amen.

7. Prayer to Bind Satan

O Triune God, our Father, the Almighty over all creation, the Sovereign of Heaven and Earth! We come boldly before You in Your Holy Name, for we know that no prayer is powerful except in the Name of Jesus. You have promised: “Whatever you ask in My Name, I will do it” and “Before they call, I will answer.” Lord, You already know the cries of our hearts and will fulfill them even as we pray. We stand upon these promises, confident that our petitions reach Your throne.

O Lord, we acknowledge our sinfulness — by birth, by lineage, by our own weakness, and by the sins of our ancestors. We are unworthy to lift Your holy Name, yet in Your mercy, You allow us to enter Your presence. For this unmatched grace, we give You endless praise. Now, Father, we take authority over Satan, the enemy who tests, tempts, and seeks to ensnare us. We declare:

“Satan, in the Name of Jesus, you are bound! You have no power over us! You cannot touch our hearts, our minds, or our actions! You cannot carry out your plans or schemes against us!

Depart from us, for we resist you in the authority of Christ!”

Lord, as You commanded in Matthew 18:18, we bind him here on earth and in heaven. His power is broken. His plans are nullified. His hands are tied. He has no claim over us. By the blood of Jesus, destroy every evil scheme, every plot, every poisonous influence, every deception of the enemy. Crush the power of the adversary and render his works powerless. Let him flee in confusion and terror from our presence.

Grant us, O Father, the courage of the Lion of Judah. Let us stand fearless, unwavering, and strong in Your Word. May every attack of the enemy recoil, may every temptation fail, and may Your victory be made manifest in our lives. We declare this with faith, boldness, and thanksgiving, trusting in Your promises, Your power, and Your Name. In the mighty Name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

8. Prayer to the Incomprehensible God

O Father, the Infinite One — the One beyond all comprehension! O Father, whose nature no thought can grasp! O Father, whom even the angels cannot fully perceive! Yet each day, You graciously reveal Yourself — little by little — to Your faithful ones.

O Incomprehensible Triune God! You are beyond the reach of our understanding. If someone were to ask us, “What is God like?” we cannot answer by saying, “He is like this person, or that thing.” You resemble none. You are incomparable. You are Your own likeness, Your own Being. You exist not because of another, but in and of Yourself. Therefore, You are far above all human comprehension. No religion in the world offers prayers with such deep meaning as the prayers of Christians — prayers inspired by divine revelation. Even the saints of the Bible did not pray with such fullness until You Yourself revealed it. Those who prepare for Your coming are those who understand Your Word and live by it.

O Lord, our Christian faith contains far greater mysteries and deeper truths than any religion on earth. Your creation — so too, the heavens, the earth, and the depths of the underworld proclaim Your glory. Therefore, we praise You, that Your name resounds through all creation! Though You are beyond comprehension, You have graciously descended into our understanding. Because of that, we can speak of You for hours, writing note after note, and sharing with others what You have revealed. You have made Yourself known to us in such a simple and loving way — this is the greatness of Your love!

O Father, who has revealed Yourself so wonderfully — we offer You endless thanksgiving. Yet, Lord, even though You have come down into our understanding, if we still remain unchanged, have mercy on us and forgive us. Amen.

Second Prayer : Father, You are mighty beyond measure, the Almighty, the Sovereign over all! And we are Your children, called to be part of Your glory. Then why would You not lift us to greatness as well? Nothing is impossible for You. Even when we are weak, unworthy, or caught in danger, You — the All-wise One — can find a way to bring us into Your glory. Though our foolishness, disobedience, and the sin buried deep within our hearts may have driven us to the very depths of the pit, Your hand can reach there. You can lift us out and carry us into Paradise. Through Your prophet Isaiah, You revealed, “The hand of the Lord is not too short to save” (Isaiah 59:1). Therefore, we trust that You can raise us to a glorious state. Praise be to Your holy name! You never reject those who come to You. So we approach You boldly, holding fast to the certainty of Your attributes — Your mercy, patience, wisdom, power, and love. Though we cannot fully grasp Your majesty, we come as close as our hearts can reach toward You. Even before we sought You, You came to us — just as You came to Adam and Eve when they hid from You. You pursued them, spoke to them, and brought them near. Lord, come to us in the same way today. And as You approach us, give us the courage and grace to come closer to You. We lack the courage on our own, yet You have given us the words of eternal life in Your Word. You alone are our refuge, our guide, and the source of everlasting life. Let us always draw near to You, with hearts full of faith and praise. Amen.

9. Healing Prayer

Lord Jesus, Great Physician! You walked through the towns of Israel, healing every sickness and disease, and for this we lift our hearts in praise and thanksgiving. How marvelous are Your works! With just a single word, You said, “My disciples will do even greater works than these.” When Peter’s shadow fell on the sick, they were healed — not by the shadow itself, but by Your power working through him. Likewise, even today, here in Kakani, when Your servants pray, many are being healed. Lord, we know it is You who are at work. Just as You walked openly in Palestine, bringing healing to all, so now You are present invisibly wherever healing takes place. Through Your servants, You restore health and life. As Paul wrote, “You are the same yesterday, today, and forever.” The miracles You performed publicly then were healing; the work You do secretly now is also healing. Praise is due to You, both then and now.

We lift up all who have come to the Bethel House seeking healing. Let it be clear that it is not by our hands, but by Yours, Lord. Let all who receive prayer know that Your power is what restores them. Let their hearts overflow with gratitude and faith.

Bless the oil that has been brought here. Even if I only speak a word of blessing, let it be as though You Yourself have placed Your hand upon it. Let every sickness and disease vanish in Your name. Show Your mercy and grace to all who have brought their oil in faith. Not only in the days of old, but even now, Lord Jesus, You bless this oil and make it a channel of Your healing power. May the joy of those healed in Palestine through You and Your disciples be fully realized here today. This oil, blessed in faith, is Your commandment fulfilled — a promise written in Your Word and made real in our midst. To You alone be all glory, honor, and praise. Amen.

10. Prayer of the Three Lamps

Lamp of Wisdom

O God, when You created us, You gave us eyes to see, hands to work, and feet to walk — and along with them, You also gave us the lamp of wisdom. For this we praise You! Through this wisdom, mankind continues to discover new wonders in creation — praise be to You, O Creator! Grant us growth in true wisdom, Lord. Enlighten our minds to discern what is holy and what is sinful. Increase our understanding about You — Your nature, Your works, and Your relationship with us. Let the lamp of wisdom within us shine brighter, revealing Your mercy, forgiveness, and love toward us. And let that same light expose any hidden sin within us, that we may turn away from it in repentance.

Lamp of Instruction

O Lord, You have lit the lamp of wisdom in the hearts of Your servants and taught them divine truths. When Your holy people, who have learned from Your direct revelation, teach us — make those same truths come alive and be revealed to us also. When we read the Holy Scriptures written by inspired authors, make their words burn brightly in our hearts, giving us clear understanding and living faith. We praise You, O Lord of Light, for every teacher and every word that leads us into Your truth.

Lamp of Conscience

O God, even the most ignorant, unbelieving, or atheistic person still has a conscience within — and for this we praise You! In every darkened heart You have placed a small, hidden lamp — the voice of conscience. Praise be to You, Lord! Yet that lamp is often covered and dimmed by sin. Our gracious Lord, do not let the weight of sin extinguish it. Pour upon it the fresh oil of Your Spirit and make it shine again. Rekindle our conscience through Your Word, that it may speak to us clearly — warning, guiding, and correcting us. Let the voice of conscience, which is truly Your own voice within, convict us when we go astray and strengthen us to walk uprightly before You. May we never silence it, but listen and obey, so that through correction we may be healed and perfected in You.

Lamp of the Spirit

O Holy Spirit! Just as the sun is the source of all lights, flames, and fires, You alone are the origin of every spiritual illumination. May Your divine light shine continually in our hearts, bringing warmth, guidance, and eternal clarity. Your flame is endless, never fading, surpassing time and circumstance. Eternal Spirit, no matter what trials or darkness we face, breathe new life into us. Correct us, strengthen us, and guide us in Your glorious light. Let us recognize and rejoice in the mighty work You are accomplishing within us, enlightening our inner lamps and revealing Your mercy, love, and forgiveness.

O Spirit of God, Father of all creation! Shape me according to Your will. Use me in the ways You have designed. When necessary, prune my heart — even if it causes pain — so that the lamp of my soul may burn brighter. Lift me to higher levels of holiness and devotion, so that Your work flows abundantly through me, never dimmed, never extinguished.

Father, You alone know the right time, the perfect way, and the purpose of all things. I surrender to You my desires, weaknesses, and the places where my light falters. I rejoice that Your work within me — the work of the lamps of wisdom, instruction, conscience, and spirit — is far greater than anything I could accomplish on my own.

O Creator, Sustainer of all things (Genesis 1), guide us to walk as those who call upon Lord Jesus, living in Your presence with hearts fully devoted. Amen.

11. Prayer of Purification

O Lord Jesus! The cleansing that comes through water or milk is incomplete. The blood of lambs or goats brings only temporary purification, serving the needs of this world alone. But the cleansing wrought by Your precious blood is eternal, reaching into the very heavens. As we look forward to the day when we shall stand before Your throne, in Your glory, before the angels, and in the presence of Your saints, we earnestly pray: purify us now, O Lord, through Your blood, that we may be found holy and blameless in that sacred presence.

Lord, once You stood before the Jews and asked, “Who can show any sin in Me?” revealing Your absolute holiness. Grant us the same boldness, purity, and confidence today — that when we stand before the eyes of men and the world, no one may accuse us of sin. Let our holiness not be like the fleeting light of the moon or the scorching sun, but the perfect and enduring holiness that is Your own.

O Lord, make our hearts truly clean, our lives truly pure, and our spirits fully devoted to You. Let Your holiness shine through us in every word, thought, and action. May we live and walk in the power of Your blood, now and forever. Amen.

12. Prayer for the Sick

(Based on Mark 11:24)

O Lord, Creator and Father of all! We come before You in faith, believing that You hear and answer our prayers. We lift up those who suffer from headaches, dizziness, fainting, and scalp or hair problems. We ask for Your healing touch to restore their health and bring them comfort. To You, O Lord, we give our praise and thanksgiving. Amen.

We pray for those with ear problems: pain, infections, deafness, or any difficulty hearing. Grant them relief, restoration, and perfect hearing, O Lord. We trust in Your mercy and healing power to touch their ears and restore their normal function.

We lift up those who suffer with eye problems: redness, swelling, pain, burning sensations, blurred vision, or partial loss of sight. Lord, grant them healing, clarity, and protection for their eyes. May their vision be restored fully according to Your will.

We pray for those with nasal ailments: swelling, growths, polyps, or any chronic nose-related condition. We trust You, Lord, to heal them, and guide doctors and medical care so that they may receive the treatment they need. Remove all blood-related or nasal diseases and bring restoration to those in need.

We lift up those suffering from coughs, tuberculosis, or any lung-related illnesses. Grant complete healing, relief from discomfort, and strength to recover fully.

We pray for the childless, those facing difficulties in family, finances, or justice. Grant children to the barren, resolution to debts, relief from poisons and afflictions, and justice to those wronged in courts. Protect Your children from harm caused by witchcraft, sorcery, black magic, or other evils.

We ask for Your blessing in academic success, marriage arrangements, and family peace. Remove obstacles that prevent people from attending meetings or gatherings for Your work. Protect children from the illnesses or bad habits of their parents. Remove greed, envy, or selfishness from hearts, and bring health and peace to all.

O Lord, we place before You the many afflictions of Your servants: sickness, misfortune, loss, or weakness. We trust You to remove these burdens, and bless those who are generous and faithful. May the works we plan and undertake succeed according to Your will. We believe that all these prayers will be answered through Your grace. Amen.

13. Prayer for Divine Protection

O Heavenly Father — the Formless One! Though You are invisible to our eyes, You are always present with us. Though unseen, You continually help us. Though beyond sight, You are our constant companion. To You, O unseen yet ever-living Father, we offer our heartfelt praise and worship!

Grant peace and comfort to all who have gathered in this fellowship. To those who suffer from heat and restlessness, bestow coolness and relief. You alone are the source of rest, comfort, and blessing. When warmth is needed, You send warmth; when coolness is required, You provide it. You are the One who delivered the three young men in the fiery furnace. The fire could not harm them, their garments were not scorched, for You were present with them. You were with Your disciples amidst the stormy waters; the cold waves could not harm them. Neither fire, water, nor wind could cause them harm, because You, Lord, were with them everywhere! Therefore, we praise You with grateful hearts. Now, Father, send us Your living Word once again. Bless not only those who are here but also those who belong to You elsewhere. Bless all who have come from different places. As the sun spreads its rays and the rain refreshes the dry land, so pour down showers of grace upon weary hearts that are burdened by hardship and distress. Let the gentle rain of Your mercy bring divine coolness and comfort.

We thank You, Lord, for the refreshing streams of Your grace. As it is written in Your Holy Word: “The sun shall not strike you by day, nor the moon by night.” So let neither the heat of the day nor the chill of the night harm us. Some may feel a warmth not from the sun’s rays but from the fire of the Spirit — grant them grace to endure that holy flame, for it does not destroy but refines and blesses the soul.

In this present time, Lord, send us Your word like sunlight that brightens, like rain that refreshes, and like the cool breeze that comforts. Fill the hearts of all who hear You as if filling books with divine writing, that every heart may overflow with Your living message. Through Jesus Christ, our Lord, who is coming soon, we humbly ask all these things. Amen.

14. Thanks giving Prayer for Birthday

O Merciful and Sovereign Father! You alone determine the precise moment for each life to enter this world, and at the appointed time, You bring forth every individual. The life of each person is wonderfully recorded in Your Word. As You spoke to Jeremiah even while he was in the womb, “Before I formed you in the womb, I knew you” (Jeremiah 1:4), so too, You know every life intimately — not only prophets like Paul, Peter, or Isaiah, but every soul You create.

O Gracious Lord! You sent Your daughter and Your Son into this world with a divine purpose and placed them into the Bible Mission. May that purpose be fulfilled completely, so that Your glory is revealed through their lives. Every life You give is also appointed a time of death, yet Your Word assures us that in these last days, many will remain alive until the Rapture comes. Therefore, Father, prepare Your children for their calling. Bless every member of their household. Nurture and strengthen the fellowship within their family, and bring it to spiritual maturity. May every word they speak, every action they take, and every work You have destined for them be accomplished, bringing honor and glory to Your name.

We lift this prayer to You, O Lord, trusting fully in Your wisdom, Your protection, and Your infinite mercy. May Your will be done in their lives, today and always. Amen.

15. Prayer for All Needs

O Lord! Our children have passed their exams and secured seats, yet despite our efforts, they have not found jobs. You alone can establish the right connections and open doors of opportunity for them. As they approach their exams, grant them wisdom, focus, and the ability to achieve passing marks. Protect them from carelessness, laziness, and forgetfulness.

O Father! Our son disobeys, refuses to go to school properly, or says he is going when he is not. Please transform his heart and guide him in obedience and truth.

Our Father! Our child has reached marriageable age, yet no proposals have come. Marriage arrangements are in Your hands. We humbly ask You to bring the right match at the right time.

O Father! Because of my limited understanding, I have fallen into debt. Only You can help me repay it. Forgive my shortcomings. Though I had hoped to clear my debts once my children started working, I have been unable to do so. Have mercy on us.

O Father! My children are eager to study, but I struggle to provide for their books and school fees. They remain idle due to lack of resources. Please open a straight path for them and provide for their needs. For every small matter in our lives, may we bring it to You, our loving Father. Look upon us with compassion and accept our prayer.

O Father! In our home, one of our loved ones suffers from a long-lasting illness. We have tried many medicines and sought the prayers of countless people, yet there has been no improvement. But You, O Lord, are the Great Physician! By Your will alone, that person can rise from the bed immediately and return to their daily work in full health. Hear my earnest plea and show Your mighty power.

O Lord! In a certain village, the work of the Gospel has borne much fruit, and many have turned to You. Yet, there is no place for evening worship, though all who hear rejoice in Your name. The village leader has promised to build a house of worship for them. Bless him abundantly, Lord, for his generosity and faithfulness. Let Your glory dwell in that place. Amen.

O Lord! As we conclude this meeting, we trust in Your promise to send Your angels to guide and protect everyone safely to their homes. We place our faith in You to bless the upcoming meetings next month and all that we do in Your name. Lord, pour out Your favor on everything that has taken place here today. Amen.

16. Prayer for the Sick

O Lord Jesus Christ, You are the Great Physician and worthy of all praise! In the past, many who were sick came to You, and You healed them all. Therefore, Lord, I come before You, trusting that You can heal me as well. You have the power to heal every kind of disease and affliction, and surely You can restore my health too. I place my complete trust in You, Father. You are able to make me well—whether through medicine or without it. Your Word is the greatest medicine of all. Teach me Your Word more deeply, for it brings life, strength, and healing to my soul. Let Your Word guide me and strengthen my faith in every trial.

O Lord Jesus, You commanded evil spirits to depart, and they obeyed You. Even now, You have the power to drive away all darkness, doubt, and fear. You forgave sinners their sins, and You raised the dead to life. I believe in You, Lord, and I know You can do mighty things for me. Strengthen my faith, remove all unbelief and doubt, and keep discouragement far from my heart. Fill me with courage, steadfast hope, and peace. Let me not be overcome by fear, weariness, or despair. O Father, I lift my heart to You in countless praises. Grant me perfect health, strength, and the ability to serve You faithfully every day of my life.

Even today, Lord, many are healed by Your mercy, sometimes without medicine, only through Your divine touch. I believe, Lord, that Your grace can bring healing to me as well. Hear my prayer, not because of my worthiness, but because of Your great mercy and compassion. Grant me healing, faith, and life in abundance. In Jesus’ precious Name, I pray—Amen.

17. Healing Prayer

i. O Lord, our gracious and healing Father! We bring before You the petitions and papers of those who are suffering and waiting with hope. You see every pain and hidden tear. Stretch out Your mighty hand and heal each one according to Your mercy. Some could not even express their burdens, yet You know them all. Touch them, Lord, and restore their peace. We praise You, for nothing is hidden from Your eyes. Heal those struggling with headaches and renew their strength. Amen.

ii. Lord, heal the eyes of the afflicted. To those whose vision is dim or weak, grant brightness and clarity. When the heaviness in their head is lifted, let their thoughts turn to You. When their eyes are healed, may they read and delight in Your Word. When their ears are restored, may they joyfully hear Your living voice.

iii. Restore hearing, O Lord. Open the ears of those who are hard of hearing. Let them clearly hear Your Word, Your worship, and Your Spirit’s gentle whisper.

iv. Heal the tongue and lips, O Master. Those who suffer from mouth or tongue diseases, slowness of speech, or muteness — touch them, Lord! Remove every barrier that keeps them silent. Fill their mouths with praise and testimony, that they may declare Your greatness before all.

v. Touch the heart, Lord of compassion. Heal those suffering from heart pain, palpitations, or swelling. The heart is the life-center of the body — cleanse it, and let life flow freely again. Fill them with courage and peace; drive out every fear and anxiety, for You are their strength.

vi. Breathe Your life into those who struggle to breathe. Those bound by asthma or shortness of breath — heal them, Lord. Let Your breath of life fill their lungs so they may breathe freely and glorify Your name in thanksgiving.

vii. Heal the lungs of the weak and weary. Those who suffer from cough, chest infections, or tuberculosis — touch them, O Lord of healing! Let them rise in health and sing Your praises with a fearless heart.

viii. Heal the stomach and inner organs. Those afflicted with stomach disorders or digestive troubles that hinder their daily life — grant them complete restoration. Cleanse their system, purify their body, and renew their strength so that they may live in holiness and wholeness before You.

ix. Lord, heal those suffering from cancer. For those diagnosed with stomach cancer or any incurable disease that human hands cannot heal — we believe, Lord, that nothing is impossible for You. With a single touch, You can make them whole. Let such people rise up with renewed life and praise You many times over for Your wondrous mercy.

x. Heal those struggling to breathe, Lord. Those suffering from severe asthma or breathing difficulties — restore them completely, so that they may freely go about their work and daily life with strength and thanksgiving.

xi. Purify the blood, O Lord of life. For those whose blood has become impure or diseased — grant complete cleansing. Since the blood is the very source of life, when You purify it, new life will flow within them. Let them lift up fresh songs of praise to You, their Life-giver.

xii. Cleanse those afflicted with skin diseases. Whether leprosy, itching, rashes, or any form of skin affliction — touch and purify them, Lord. Let their entire body become a vessel of praise. The devil has corrupted the body You made holy; now come, O Lord, and restore it to purity and beauty.

xiii. Strengthen the weak hands. Those whose hands are weak or powerless — stretch forth Your healing hand and strengthen them. Then they will work diligently, offer You gifts with their hands, lift their hands in worship, and instead of cursing, use those very hands to bless.

xiv. Heal the lame and restore their steps. Those whose legs are weak, crippled, or unable to walk — heal them, Lord. Then they will run joyfully like little children wherever You send them. How great will be Your glory! Why should this not happen? It shall surely happen — yes, even now, as we pray, let healing flow this very moment!

xv. Heal those suffering from urinary or bowel disorders. Those who struggle to relieve themselves due to illness — grant them healing, Lord. Let their whole body be cleansed and restored, bringing praise to Your holy name. Have compassion on all such afflicted ones.

xvi. Soften hardened hearts and minds. Some have hardness within their body, heart, or mind. Though they hear Your Word, they do not change; though they know what is right, they cannot turn from evil. Have mercy on them, Lord. Soften their hearts, that they may yield to You in obedience, as we read this morning, “Submit yourselves to God.” Then Your heart will be filled with joy.

xvii. Deliver from inner bondage, O Lord. Those struggling with anxiety, irritation, anger, jealousy, unbelief, and doubt — heal them, Lord. For doubting man is distrust toward others, and unbelief is doubt toward You. Deliver also those bound by laziness, sleepiness, gluttony, drunkenness, and other such weaknesses. We present before You all whom we may have forgotten or failed to mention — every soul suffering in any condition. Lord, we place them all before Your holy presence. Amen.

18. Universal Prayer

Pray this daily and see how it transforms you!

O God! You are the embodiment of love, wisdom, justice, power, and holiness. You are omnipresent, eternal, and infinite — therefore, I bow to You with countless reverence.

You created the earth, the heavens, and all things within them for my sake — therefore, I offer You unending praise. You have preserved me until this day — therefore, I thank and glorify You.

Forgive all my sins. Grant me the strength to forsake sin. Deliver me from sins, sicknesses, and dangers. Let no harm come to me — whether from evil spirits or from men. Protect me from all harm that may arise from evil dreams, doubts, fear, ignorance, carelessness, uncleanness, food or drink, or from any other source. Grant me the ability to walk righteously before You and before my fellow human beings.

Guard me when I am at home, when I go to work, when I travel, and when I sleep. Give me a heart that continually seeks Your help in every time, every place, every work, and every situation. Bless me that I may live always with thoughts fixed on You.

When I knowingly or unknowingly do anything against Your will, stop me, Lord. Even if You seem not to appear, not to speak, not to grant my desires, or not to remove my troubles, help me not to grow weary or lose heart, but to walk in love and faithfulness toward You, following Your divine path.

Some say, “There is no God.” Others say, “Even if He exists, there is no relationship between Him and us.” Some claim, “Self is the only divinity,” while others argue, “All religions are the same.” Some teach that there are angels who protect the world and that the devout shall attain salvation; others say there are demons that lead people into sin, and that those who die without devotion fall into hell. Still others deny all these things.

O God! O Father! Reveal Yourself to me. Grant me the wisdom to know the truth.

Look with mercy upon sinners, the sick, the poor, the ignorant, and all who are entangled in various troubles—indeed, upon all the inhabitants of the earth. Put an end to strife and discord. Help those who suffer from slander, debt, or injustice. Give all people a heart of compassion toward mankind and every living creature. You have entrusted the earth and its abundance to humanity, along with many kinds of work. Grant them the care and diligence to preserve it faithfully.

Reveal Yourself to me, O Lord. And at the end of my life, receive me into Your presence. To You be all praise and reverence. So be it. Amen.

19. Prayer on the Second Coming

In a certain village, all the people lived in quarrels and strife. One day, a father who had gone to see his fever-stricken daughter heard of the dangerous disturbances in that place. Fearing for her safety, he immediately took his daughter back home. This world too is a world of turmoil — a world of sin, a world suffering the consequences of sin, a world of famine, disease, venomous creatures, hopelessness, death, demons, and men enslaved by them. Therefore, our Heavenly Father will not let us remain here forever; He will take us into His home of salvation. He is coming soon — this is the Second Coming.

When the father went to take his daughter, she did not say, “I will come.” Likewise, when our Lord comes in the clouds, we too should not say, “I will come.” Instead, we must say, “Lord, Father, I am ready.”

O Lord! Grant us such grace that we may truly say, “Father, I am ready.” Amen.
